Eddie's writing a book about self-hypnosis. But he isn't progressing at the speed he wants to. Until he finds a new coffeehouse in town. The hot owner, Brian, is very welcoming and Eddie feels motivated to write there more and more.

One day after closing, Brian wants to know what Eddie is working on. Eddie ends up demonstrating hypnosis on Brian. Until Brian's "roommate" Max comes to pick him up.
